The Plant People has been established in the Auckland area since 1986, providing professional services in all areas of horticulture. The company operates out of their main depot in Otahuhu supported by plant and tree nurseries at Oratia and Dairy Flat.

The company has a very strong management team, lead by Alan Subritzky who has 30 year experience in the horticulture field, including the management and operation of two successful businesses before purchasing The Plant People in 1999. Under Alan's ownership The Plant People has grown from 12 staff and 8 vehicles to 40 staff and a fleet of 21 vehicles including earthmoving and mowing machinery.

The company is comprised of 7 divisions, including landscaping, garden maintenance, interior plant rental, special events, nursery, excavator and civil works and contract mowing, as well as contract growing in our two nursery bases.
